Applying Software Updates - Minor Upgrades and Software Fixes

For all software purchases you will receive all fixes and 'minor' functional changes free of charge for that version of the software. The term 'minor' upgrade is a very loose term though. If you take a look at our release notes section, you will see that we gave over 100 enhancements for free to our version 7 users. At the end of the day our business grows by listening to your comments and feedback. Simply put, we implement functionality most requested by our users.

Upgrading the Software - Major Functional Upgrades

Whenever a major functional upgrade takes place then the software version will change. For example, for Landlords Property Manager Professional, we are currently on version 8. The next version will be version 9.

Customers who have purchased the software outright...

When a 'major' functional upgrade is undertaken and a new version of the software is released then there will be an optional cost to upgrade to this new version. The current costs of major functional upgrades are detailed below:

Example: John buys Landlords Property Manager Professional version 8. He will continue to receive all functional changes to this version of the software free of charge. However, when Landlords Property Manager version 9 is launched, he will be able to upgrade to this version at a cost of £197 + VAT, should he wish to do so.

If you wish to upgrade to the latest version please sign in to your customer account and you can upgrade from within here. The software will also prompt you that an upgrade is available and you will be able to upgrade directly through the software.

Customers who are on a rental 'pay-as-you-go' payment plan...

If you are on our monthly 'pay-as-you-go' payment plan and pay for the software monthly then you will automatically be upgraded to all future releases of the software free of charge. In other words you will just continue to pay your monthly fee and continue to receive all minor upgrades, major upgrades and software fixes free of charge.
